It's not as bad as it sounds, but "Sitting on the dog" is an excellent mental activity.  It helps drain energy on a bad weather day, or if you have guests over the dog is too worked up.  Give it a try and let me know how it worked.

It's important to know how dogs investigate people and objects.  Often times we don't give the dog a chance to learn about people and objects and that can create an insecurity which is something we don't want.  Give the dog extra time.....it makes all the difference in the world.

Finley is a Covid dog that is currently one of our board and train dogs.  I made a decision that I don't normally make unless it's needed.  I'm proud of myself for listening to my instincts with this decision.
